The Master of Science in Anthropology program is housed in the Mercyhurst Archaeological Institute (MAI) at Mercyhurst College. Three programs of study are available to students: Forensic and Biological Anthropology, Archaeology, and Geoarchaeology.

The Forensic and Biological Anthropology program trains students primarily in the field of forensic anthropology via a curriculum that concentrates on forensic archaeology, human skeletal biology, biological statistics, trauma and taphonomic analysis.
